WEEK THREE | DAY ONE | REVELATION 7:9
This song was created just a few years ago by Proskuneo Ministries, a multicultural worshiping community. Inspired by Revelation 7:9, it grew out of a desire to see God’s Church join together in unity—giving God glory not just in heaven, but also here on earth. May the Church continue to find ways to express His Kingdom come and coming, and share that He is Light and Life!
오 왕이 오셨다
OH, THE KING HAS COME.
OH, THE KING IS BORN,
AS A BABY BOY SO SMALL,
TO A FAMILY, COLD AND POOR,
SO THAT HE MIGHT KNOW OUR PLIGHT
AND WE MIGHT SHARE HIS LIFE.
EVEN IN THE DARKEST NIGHT
SHINES THE ONE WHO IS MY LIFE.
AND BECAUSE HE WALKS WITH ME,
I WILL NEVER FEAR AGAIN.*
Earlier this year, Frontier Fellowship partners Rise Development and Central Asian Youth Outreach collaborated to launch a soccer program for Afghan refugee youth who had recently moved into their communities. Although each ministry has worked with refugee communities before, this new initiative emerged after members of each organization were introduced to one another and discovered their shared passion for serving marginalized communities with the love of Christ.
This type of cooperation between Christians provides least-reached people a powerful example of what God’s Kingdom is like. With whom can you collaborate to show others a tangible expression of God’s love? Where do you long to see greater unity in the Body of Christ? Pray for the global Church to grow in unity, working together so that all peoples will soon know the One who walks with them and find unity and friendship among followers of Jesus.
