The frontier is the places and peoples still unreached with the Gospel due to lack of Christian witness. In fact, nearly one third of the people in the world are part of that frontier and have almost no chance of hearing about Jesus from someone in their own people group.
Frontier Fellowship’s first director, Harold Kurtz, reminded us that the Good News of Jesus is always meant to go beyond current boundaries—beyond the next hill—until it reaches the very ends of the earth.
God invites us to
“Only ask, and I will give you the nations as your inheritance, the whole earth as your possession.” —Psalm 2:8 (NLT)
The frontier calls out to followers of Jesus. Do you hear it? It is a call for the Church, and it will not let us stand still.
Frontier Fellowship’s global partners are faithfully carrying the hope of the Gospel to these frontiers. How might God be calling you to come alongside them, so that all peoples may have the opportunity to hear and respond to the Good News of Jesus in their own culture and heart language?
