Announcing Our Next Executive Director

Announcing Frontier Fellowship’s New Executive Director!

DEAR FRIENDS,

I am pleased to announce that Frontier Fellowship’s Board of Directors has called Ethan Collins to be our next Executive Director. Ethan’s love for Christ is joyful, and he is a man of deep prayer and passion for the frontier.

Ethan was raised in a Presbyterian church in Texas. As an undergraduate at Texas A&M University, he came to a vibrant faith in Jesus through the ministries of Young Life and Grace Bible Church. Ethan served for ten years as a Young Life Area Director in the Houston region (1992-2002).

During his senior year at Texas A&M (1992), Ethan took the “Perspectives on the World Christian Movement” class and reports he hasn’t yet recovered from that experience! That class began his passion for the nations, which drives him today as a self-proclaimed “Global Church Champion.”

Ethan and his wife, Amber, were married in 1999. They moved to East Africa and served with Africa Inland Mission from 2002-2004. When they returned from Kenya, Ethan worked in the marketplace as a sales executive for Pfizer Pharmaceuticals and Texas Home Medical.

After graduating in 2013 from Dallas Theological Seminary with a Master of Arts in Cross-Cultural Ministry, Ethan served as Missions Pastor at Faith Bible Church in The Woodlands, Texas. Since 2015, he has been the Global Outreach Pastor at Scottsdale Bible Church in Phoenix, Arizona, overseeing a large staff that works with over 55 global workers and missionaries.

Ethan’s faith journey and vocational service equip him well for helping Frontier Fellowship go wider, deeper and farther. He and Amber have three children: Emmett (19), Ava (16), and Sawyer (12).

The Board is also very grateful that Richard Haney, Executive Director, Emeritus, will serve with Ethan during a transition period through the spring of 2024. We are deeply thankful for Richard’s wise and visionary leadership of Frontier Fellowship.

Please join us in warmly welcoming Ethan to Frontier Fellowship. Hold him in your prayers. He began his service on January 2, 2024.

Thank you for your faithful prayers and support of Frontier Fellowship and its mission of reaching the unreached.

God bless you,

DOUGLAS M. DYE
Chair, Frontier Fellowship Board of Directors
