STRIVE UPWARD CHURCH PLANTING INITIATIVE / CENTRAL ASIA

The Strive Upward Church Planting Initiative is a Disciple Making Movement that uses sports ministry as a means by which to share the Good News of Jesus with least-reached peoples and multiply the planting of churches throughout Central Asia and beyond. As church planters build relationships with communities through sports activities, they have opportunities to demonstrate and share God’s hope and love with athletes and their families. When individuals decide to follow Jesus, Strive Upward Church Planting Initiative helps disciple them, encourages them to share their faith with others and equips them to help establish new churches throughout the region. Through group games, sports camps, training opportunities and more, the Strive Upward Church Planting Initiative is engaging an increasing number of Central Asian athletes and their communities with the Gospel.

STRIVE UPWARD CHURCH PLANTING INITIATIVE’S IMPACT

Through the relationships that Strive Upward Church Planting Initiative’s staff are building, least-reached peoples are gaining access to the Good News of Jesus. Using biblical principles, athletes are being coached to form healthy habits and behaviors, helping set them up for holistic wellness. As young people in Central Asia hear about Jesus, they can become carriers of the Gospel to their friends and communities, impacting a large region for God’s Kingdom.
