These Hindu people groups are ethnic minorities living in the economically poor ____ region of ________. Because of their low-caste status, ____ and ___ children aren’t welcome in local primary schools. SCHOOLS IN THE SAND’S IMPACT
Matching grant opportunities?
The first school opened in 2004. Today, there are three schools with 100 boys and girls in each. Children who otherwise wouldn’t receive an education are taught to read and write. They also receive health and hygiene instruction. Through Schools in the Sand, children and their families also gain access to the Good News of Jesus.
